Artist Statement

I am a visual artist who resides in New York and I have graduated from Purchase College with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts. I work mainly in 2-D  media such as; graphite, colored pencil, pastel, printmaking, and oil/acrylic paint. I also work digitally using Photoshop. My work has a heavy focus on both portraiture and the natural world. One of my goals in art is to combine the idea of a personal life and evolutionary history.  Furthermore, I take inspiration from American pop culture and fiction.
